It happens to all of us.
On some days we’re fully focused. Other days, not so much.
If you are experiencing brain fog regularly, you aren’t getting much done. Most probably, you are also getting frustrated. In turn, this forces you to get less quality work in.
How great would it be if we could have laser sharp focus everyday?
Well, there are ways to achieve this but for today..
I want to give you my quick fix if you are experiencing brain fog.
Whenever you’re lacking focus, just stop what you are doing.
I want you to realise that you can turn your current state of mind around in just 20 minutes.
It’s way better to stop and take 20 minutes out of what you’re doing. To gain hours of focus, where you can put your real quality work in.
These are the two things you have to do to clear your mind and regain focus.
10 minute cardio/body weight exercise
If you have a treadmill at home, run on the treadmill for 10 minutes.
Go for a quick 10 minute run outside and get some sunlight.
You can do 10 minute body weight exercises.
Squats and push ups are fantastic to get your heart pumping. Combining the two exercises is excellent.
We want to clear the brain fog and get the maximum amount of focus in the shortest possible time.
Keep the intensity for these 10 minutes very high.
The key is keep the workout short and intense.
Take a cold shower
After you have successfully got some sweat out, it’s time for a quick shower.
We’re going to do this differently that what you’re probably used to.
We will not be taking a warm shower like the average Joe does.
Instead, it will be a cold shower.
Taking a cold shower will be tough but it is definitely worth it.
You’ll never know what it feels like unless you try it.
The fact that you exercised for 10 minutes will make it a bit easier for sure.
Unless you live in a cold climate country like Russia, you should take a cold shower.
If not, take a cold shower.
All you need is a few minutes under cold water. That’s all.
The benefits of cold showers are unbelievable.
When you’re out of the shower, your mind will be as sharp as it’s ever been.
You’ll have a renewed boost of energy and mental clarity you didn’t have 20 minutes before.
I have used this technique many, many times and it has never failed me. I used it when I:
- was feeling tired after a heavy day and needed to go out for the night
- got little sleep at night and needed to work on business in the morning
- knew I had an important meeting ahead of me, to be mentally sharp and ready to negotiate
- needed to spend an entire night working on my projects
The list goes on…
I like that I have the ability to eliminate brain fog in such a short time. Whenever it hits me, I know what the solution is. All I have to do is stop whatever I’m doing, get up and regain my focus in 20 minutes.
I like simplicity.
This method is simple and effective.
Let me know how it works out for you.
