At 18 years young..
I made a decision.
The decision to start lifting weights. To build my physique. To not look like a wimp anymore.
To this day, it’s one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
I firmly believe that every man should lift weights.
Here are 10 reasons why..
1. You will develop self-confidence
Everyone starts from zero. Adding tiny weights to the bar every time you go to the gym. Pushing yourself that little bit every time adds up.
You try lifting a new weight and you fail. But you try again and you succeed.
Eventually, you start seeing your first results. The hard work is finally paying off.
Going from no physique to having the body of a Greek god will skyrocket your self-confidence.
Your newly found self-confidence will show everywhere. At the gym, at the grocery store and in front of sexy Suzy.
2. You become more attractive to women
This should be reason #1.
Everyone starts off with this one in mind. So did I.
But as time goes by, the training starts taking a meaning of its own. You start lifting weights for yourself.
Make no mistake though.
Being physically fit WILL make you 100% more attractive to women. Having a broad back with wide shoulders and a lean waist will drive any woman crazy.
Not to mention you boost your endurance during sex.
Having a muscular physique will make the ladies wet their pants for you. You notice the girls staring at you.
And all you have to do is say “Hello”, grab their hand and take ’em back to your place.
3. You will have higher energy levels
Lifting weights will get your heart racing and blood pumping.
When you finish a tough workout and you’re walking back home..
You feel terrific.
Your energy levels feel high as you’re relieved you’ve got a solid workout in.
Consistent weight training gives you massive energy on a daily basis.
Compare these two guys’ daily evening:
- Bob spends the evening sitting down, watching TV and eating potato chips until he finally falls asleep on his couch
- Jeff gets a killer workout at the gym in the evening, takes a cold shower, eats a healthy meal, fucks his girlfriend and goes to sleep
Who is the guy that has the most energy?
4. Lifting weights boosts your testosterone
Testosterone is the primary male hormone.
Lifting weights stimulates your testosterone and muscular growth.
All the alpha males share one common trait between them. That is high levels of testosterone.
If you want to grow stronger, you have to boost your male hormone. And lifting weights is the perfect way to do it.
5. You will develop discipline
There isn’t much you can accomplish in life if you’re missing discipline.
Going to the gym day in and day out. Pushing yourself beyond your limits requires you to be disciplined.
Lifting weights will help you develop discipline. And you’ll need discipline for any kind of success you’ll ever pursue in your life.
Develop discipline by lifting weights today. So that in the future, you’ll have the discipline to build a business. And the life of your dreams.
6. Stress relief
Let’s face it.
We all experience days full of stress.
It’s perfectly normal – some days you’re happy. On other days you’re angry.
Anger is simply energy that needs to come out.
If you sit on your ass all day, it will probably come out by swearing, drinking alcohol, doing drugs or violence. You harm yourself and risk harming others with you.
Use anger to your advantage. Go into the gym and have a killer workout. Anger lights a fire under your ass like no other emotion does.
Lift the weights hard and when you’re ready..
You’ll forget you were angry in the first place.
7. You will learn to push through mental barriers
Pushing to lift more weight and consistently progressing will teach you a very important life skill.
Mindset is everything.
You will learn to push yourself mentally and break past barriers you thought were unbreakable.
The immense satisfaction you feel after lifting a weight you never thought you could lift is insane.
Developing mental strength will come in handy for the bigger challenges you will face outside of the gym.
8. You will lose fat
Lifting weights will help you both gain muscle AND lose fat.
Personally, I aim for a huge upper body coupled with a thin waist.
There’s this myth out there that you only have to do cardio to lose fat. It’s not true.
The secret to losing fat is to do both cardio (especially, High Intensity Training) and lift weights. Of course, you also need to eat less calories so that you start burning that fat off.
So couple weight lifting with your regular cardio and your fat loss rate will triple.
9. Improve your posture
Another great habit you’ll develop out of lifting weights.
Building a muscular physique will give you no other option.
You will stand tall and proud.
Proud of what you have achieved, out of your own sweat and hard work.
People will notice your superb stance as you walk around with supreme confidence.
10. More strength and power
Have you ever saw a muscular guy with a beastly back?
Building a muscular body will help you project more power.
Your increased self-confidence, stunning posture and fit physique will all contribute to give you a look of power.
Add to that the real physical and mental strength that now lies within you.
Now you will start noticing that people will listen as you speak. You project your words with confidence because you come from a place of power.
It’s time to get going to the gym and build the body of your dreams.
Trust me it will all be worth it.
You will get to truly feel how awesome it is to have a spectacular physique.
I can guarantee you that once you experience these 10 reasons I outlined above..
You will always make sure you remain in top physical shape.
